FINDING A BRAND VOICE

HOW ONE IMPROV SCHOOL FOUND ITS BRAND VOICE

How do you find your brand's voice?

One idea: imagine a celebrity reading your BrandScript.  Who would you cast? There's a big difference between Danny Devito, Reese Witherspoon, and Morgan Freeman.

Sometimes you’re too close to it.

Jeff asked me to look at the Player's Workshop because they were having trouble with their brand voice. Player's Workshop, a fifty year old Chicago-based improv school, knew their voice wasn't coming through as clearly as it could. Right from the start we nailed down some tactics they could implement right away to clarify it.

Once you get clear on your brand's voice, your audience begins to feel like they know you. Then they reply back, comment, and share.

And an engaged audience is a buying audience.

I'd be happy to take a look at your brand up close. Schedule a half hour with me - totally free - and I'll look through some of your materials and give you feedback.
